The Mayor: Origins Part 1

Bobby lived in the trailer park. A ten year old boy in 1970. His family was poor, but that didn’t matter. Bobby had his best friend Abigail to be with all day. Abigail lived in the trailer park too. The trailer park was close to the woods. Bobby and Abby would have adventures in those woods all day long. They were the best of friends and only needed each other.

The local newspapers were reporting on a series of armed bank robberies in town. The cops were having no luck finding the robbers. But rumors of a new young heroine calling herself Cheer Girl was on the case. It wasn’t every town that got a Cheer Girl. This town certainly never had one so it was exciting to hear this small town finally had a protector.

Bobby and Abby were playing heroes and villains in the woods. Abby played Wonder Woman while Bobby was the criminal who was running from her. Abby tossed her jump rope on Bobby. “I got you with my magic lasso criminal!” she said.

Bobby stood frozen. “Okay you caught me Wonder Woman. I can’t fight your lasso.” Bobby said. Abby smiled. “Wonder Woman wins again!” she says excitedly in her Wonder Woman underoos that Bobby was enjoying the look of.

“Abby why can’t the criminal ever beat Wonder Woman?” Bobby asks.

“Because Wonder Woman never loses Bobby.” she replies.

“Yeah but sometimes she gets captured. It’s not fun if I can’t win a little.” he says.

“Well it’s fun for me Bobby, but if you want to capture Wonder Woman you need a good plan.” she says.

“Okay, well let’s pretend I put a stinky rag over your face and make you really groggy. Then I…well…the rest will be a surprise.” he says. Abby agrees and begins searching for Bobby.

“Where are you criminal?” she asks walking through the woods.

Suddenly she feels Bobby’s hand over her face and she pretends to get groggy going limp in Bobby’s arms.

“Right here Wonder Woman! You walked right into my trap!” he says as he suddenly feels his cock bulge. Grabbing Abby and feeling her go limp gave him a feeling of exhilaration like he never felt before.

Abby moaned and struggled then weakened like they had agreed. Suddenly Bobby takes the jump rope she had stuffed in her waistband and wrapped it around Abby. “I got you with your own lasso Wonder Woman! Now you have to obey me!” Bobby says.

Abby stood up quickly and got upset. “NO Bobby! You can’t use the lasso on Wonder Woman. That’s against the rules and it’s not fair!” she complained. “You can tie up Wonder Woman, but then she breaks free and beats the criminal.” she explains.

Suddenly Bobby and Abigail hear what sounds like a party in the woods. They sneak around to see a gang of rough looking men with bags of money deep in the woods. They watch as they count the stacks of cash they had stolen.

“They’re smoking pot and drinking beer!” Abby says.

“What do we do Abby? I think they’re the bank robbers.” Bobby whispers.

Suddenly out of the sky a blonde cheerleader lands in the middle of them. She’s wearing a mask to conceal her identity. Abby shakes Bobby excitedly. “Bobby it’s Cheer Girl! She found the criminals!” she says.

“Hello boys. I don’t think that money belongs to you. Time to practice some cheer kicks to your faces.” she says.

The leader of the gang stands up. A rough looking long haired tattooed man. “Listen kid, nobody here got their lunch money stolen. Now run along before you’re late for class.” he says while they all laugh at the pretty young masked cheerleader.

To Bobby and Abby Cheer Girl looked like a grown woman. But in reality she was only a 14 year old girl. Not much older than them. So the fact that she was going up against a tough gang of robbers was extraordinary.

Cheer Girl didn’t appreciate being laughed at. She was a new heroine and wanted to prove herself. So she cheer kicked the closest thug sending him flying. The thugs charged Cheer Girl with bats and knives. The amazing teenager flipped and kicked until each thug was down. She was fast and strong. She could jump higher than average and was incredibly agile. Abby and Bobby watched as the thugs lay moaning.

Cheer Girl walks over to the bags of money and confiscates them. “This belongs to the bank and the police are on the way to arrest you losers.” Cheer Girl says cockily.

Suddenly Bobby and Abby watch as the lead thug wasn’t quite knocked out. He was sneaking up on Cheer Girl with a bat in his hand. He raised the bat behind the unsuspecting Cheer Girl…

“Bobby we have to warn her.” Abby says.

“No wait Abby. She’s a good guy and they always win, right? He won’t get her.” Bobby says as he watches excitedly. The thought of Cheer Girl getting hurt was making him tingle with energy.

The thug swung the bat into Cheer Girls skull sending her crashing to the ground in a heap. She tried to crawl as the thug kept cracking her with the bat. The thug was mercilessly yelling at her…

“You fucking little bitch! *crack* This ain’t school! *crack* Stay in your fucking lane! *crack* Here’s your first and last lesson little girl! LIFE AIN’T FAIR! SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO TAKE WHAT YOU WANT!” *CRACK *

Bobby was rock hard watching Cheer Girl getting beaten. He wanted to see her lose. He was actually enjoying it. He wished he could be the thug swinging that bat. The thugs words echoing in his ears (Life ain’t fair. Sometimes you have to take what you want).

Abby on the other hand had a different reaction….

“Leave her alone criminal!” Abby stands up and screams making him stop. The thug turns around to see Abby. “What is this a fucking school field trip?” The thug yells.

Suddenly the thug is sent flying into a tree from a powerful flying cheer kick. Cheer Girl was hurt, but she was tough enough to remain conscious and ultimately victorious.

Cheer Girl rubbed her head and called over Abby and Bobby. “Thanks for the help kids.” she said.

Abby was in heaven meeting a real heroine. She had a million questions for Cheer Girl. The biggest was how she could become a Cheer Girl one day. Cheer Girl laughed. “Look Abby, you have to be chosen to become a Cheer Girl. You just have to be a good person. In four years you’ll be entering high school while I’ll be leaving. Maybe you’ll be chosen to be the next Cheer Girl.” she explained.

Abby was excited. She promised to be the best person she could possibly be. She wanted more than anything to be Cheer Girl in four years.

All Abby could talk about was going to high school and being a heroine. She no longer wanted to play as Wonder Woman, she only wanted to play Cheer Girl.

Because of the incident in the woods Cheer Girl became a huge celebrity in town. She was in local parades and made a huge name for herself. Everyone was sure she’d be chosen to become a full superheroine one day.

Bobby recalled the time Abby played Wonder Woman with him and she complained it wasn’t fair he used the lasso on her. “life ain’t fair. Sometimes you have to take what you want”. He wished he said to her.

A few months later Abby had some news for Bobby. “Bobby my dad got a new job and were buying a house on the other side of town. We’re leaving the trailer park.” she said.

Bobby was sad to see his best friend leaving and they both cried. Despite only being across town there was no social media in 1970 and it wasn’t easy to keep in touch. More often than not you just lost touch. But Abby had a plan. “Don’t worry Bobby. We’ll be in high school together in four years and we can be best friends again! We’re always gonna be best friends Bobby I promise.” Abby said.

FOUR YEARS LATER. FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL.

Bobby was excited to start high school and even more excited to see his best friend Abby again. He saw her walking towards him in the crowd. She was surrounded by the prettiest rich girls from the nice part of town. Bobby walked right up to Abby. “Hi Abby!” He says excitedly. Abby looks at Bobby a little shocked. “Umm…hi…Billy, right?” she asks.

“Abby, it’s me Bobby. Your best friend. Remember?” he says as the rich girls all snicker and chuckle at the “poor kid” Bobby.

“Oh my God Abby do you really know this little toad?” The nameless mean girl asks.

“He’s just a boy from a long time ago. Let’s go girls. Bye Billy.” Abby says walking away.

It’s… It’s… Bobby.” he says quietly.

To compound his problems Bobby’s family was having big money problems. His dad lost his job and rent for the trailer was due. His mom was also recently diagnosed with cancer. Bobby needed to make money for his family.

As the semester wore on there was still no reports of a new Cheer Girl. Maybe there was no more Cheer Girl for 4 more years. Abby became a cheerleader while continuing to completely ignore her “best friend”.

Bobby saw the fundraiser for the Cheer Squad drive. He saw a lock box filled with cash that the cheerleaders raised. The lock box was kept in the gym teachers office. Bobby knew he could break in at night and get that money for his family.

“Life ain’t fair. Sometimes you have to take what you want.” Bobby said to himself. He resolved to steal that money tonight.

Bobby put on a black ski mask and  broke into the gym. He pryed off the lock on the gym teachers desk. He grabbed the lock box and started to leave. In the massive gym he heard a female voice from the rafters in the dark.

“Stop criminal!” she says.

Bobby runs for the exit when he feels a kick to his chest sending him crashing into a wall. Bobby is terrified as he hears the soft foot steps of someone next to him.

“Please. I’m sorry. My family needs money. I’m trying to help my mom. She’s sick.” he pleads with the poweful girl. Suddenly she flicks the light next to his head and he sees standing over him a gorgeous cheerleader in a red mask to hide her identity.

“You think you can steal from your school? I’m Cheer Girl and you’re busted criminal!” she says to him as she pulls his ski mask off.

She looks stunned to see his face. “Billy?” she says.

“Abby?” he replies. “You did it. You’re Cheer Girl!” he says.

Cheer Girl roughly shoves him against the wall. “I don’t know who this Abby is, but I’m Cheer Girl. You got that criminal?” she says.

“Abby please. I don’t know why you won’t be my friend anymore, but please don’t turn me in. Take the money and let me go.” he begs.

LATER

Bobby is arrested and put in jail. He is court ordered to attend juvenile detention correction. His father disowns him while his mother grows sicker each day.

The new Cheer Girl gets alot of publicity for catching her first criminal. She’s interviewed in the local paper, the school paper and even the local TV News.

Bobby watched the news and knew it was Abby. The way she talked, the way she moved, the way she looked at him when she pulled off his mask.

“That fucking cunt. I’ll get her back. Heroines only care about their reputations and publicity. I’m going to destroy Abby if it’s the last thing I fucking do!” Bobby vows
